One day, MerTourvel, whom I didn't know at all, sent me a very simple email, just a few lines, straight from her work inbox (which surprised me a little): "I came across your website, and I'm looking for a photographer who could help me reveal myself a little, at my own pace, and show me at my best. Could you tell me more about your work and your methods?" It was a simple, effective message, and above all very businesslike. So businesslike that I thought a lady of a certain age was writing to me! So when I saw her walk into our shooting location, I was quite surprised! In the end we did several shoots over time, including this one, which I'm publishing today in a considerably improved version!
