A few years ago I was asked to "test" Paris hotels. The idea was simple: hotels would provide me with a room, which I had to evaluate through a fairly detailed questionnaire. It was precisely while going to test the Hôtel du Jeu de Paume, on the Île Saint Louis in Paris, that I took the opportunity to shoot Rouge. The hotel was fun because the rooms were arranged around a large space that used to be, in fact, a real tennis court (jeu de paume). But honestly, you can't really tell from the photos!
